Brownie Badge Day

SATURDAY, APRIL 18, 2020 - 10:00AM - 1:30PM

Bring your Brownie Girl Scout to Claude Moore Park and the Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum and choose 2 of the 4 offered badges during Brownie Badge Day.  Open to individuals or troops.  


Programs will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and include an hour break for lunch.   Bring your own lunch and dress for the weather as parts of the badges will be held outdoors.  


Scouts must be accompanied by a troop leader or parent.  No drop-offs please.


Cost is $10 per Scout.  

Badges

  • Bugs:  Explore the world of bugs looking for their homes, hideaways, and interacting with live specimens.  Find out what makes a bug a bug and craft your own. 
  • Letterboxing:  Practice riddles and follow clues to find a hidden cache.  Make a log book and your own stamp to record your adventures. 
  • Inventor:   Solve problems on the farm. Use our box of simple machines to create inventions for use on the farm. 
  • Making Games:   Learn about games from 100 years ago and make a historic scavenger hunt, create a mystery game, and develop a whole new sport.
