Other Ways to Give

Volunteer

The Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum relies on dedicated volunteers to help bring history to life! Whether you're passionate about local history, enjoy working with visitors, or have skills in gardening, education, or collections care, there's a place for you here. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community, meet new people, and support our mission.

To learn more about volunteer opportunities, contact Gabriela Conrad-Distasio, Visitor Engagement Manager at gabriela@lhfarmmuseum.org or call (571) 258-3800. We’d love to have you on our team!

Artifact Donations

The Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum welcomes artifact donations that help preserve and share the rich agricultural history of Loudoun County. If you have an item you believe would be a valuable addition to our collection, please contact Denise Mo, Executive Director, at denise@lhfarmmuseum.org or call (571) 258-3802 to discuss your potential donation. All donations are subject to review based on our collection needs and preservation capabilities.

Memorial Giving

Make a gift to the Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum in honor or memory of someone special.  Donations can also be mailed to 21668 Heritage Farm Lane, Sterling, VA 20164.  Please indicate the name of the individual being honored or memorialized in the memo line of the check. We are pleased to provide an update on total gifts upon request.

Double Your Impact with Employer Matching

Did you know many companies offer matching gift programs to support employee charitable contributions? Your donation to the Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum could go even further with a matching gift from your employer. Check with your HR department to see if your company participates. Thank you for helping us preserve and share Loudoun County’s agricultural heritage!

Bequest or Restricted Donation

Consider making a lasting impact on the Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum by including us in your estate planning. A bequest or restricted donation can help ensure the future preservation of Loudoun County’s agricultural history and support specific areas of our mission that are important to you, whether it's education, exhibit development, or collections preservation.

To learn more about making a bequest or restricted donation, please contact Denise Mo, Executive Director, at denise@lhfarmmuseum.org or (571) 258-3802. We are grateful for your generosity and commitment to preserving history for future generations.

Appreciated Securities

Gifts of appreciated securities offer a number of tax advantages over cash donations: you receive a charitable income tax deduction for the fair market value of the securities, while also avoiding capital gains taxes on the appreciation. It’s a great way to make a significant impact on preserving Loudoun County’s agricultural history.
