Please review the important safety protocols above. Because of the phased reopening guidelines, we prohibit access to interactive exhibits, guests will not be allowed to "milk" Milkie or access to the Waxpool General Store, Miss Su's Schoolhouse, or Grandma's Kitchen. The Gift Shop/kitchen will not be open to visitors. We are limiting visitors to a total of 8 in the museum at one time.
Daily Programs
Daily programs will be held in the museum gallery and outdoors weather permitting. Our current Daily Programs are on how your food gets from the farm to the table and farm animals. Programs are led by an instructor and have an educational component, hands-on activities, and a take-home activity bag for each family. Each family group spaced six feet apart from each other and the instructor. Suitable for Kindergartners though rising 3rd graders. $5/person (includes adults and children). Weekend Museum Gallery Visitation
The Museum Gallery is open on the weekends for self-guided visitation. Suitable for rising 3rd graders and above. We will be closed periodically for COVID disinfecting. We ask that you pre-register and pre-pay to ensure your spot . Pre-registration cut off is 24 hours prior. You can still walk-in but are not guaranteed that there will be space available. Waxpool General Store Exhibit
at Thomas Balch Library
During the month of January, visit our exhibit on the Waxpool General Store temporarily located at the Thomas Balch Library. Appointments can be made for Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10AM to 12PM and 1PM to 3PM.
